I just remember Red Lobster being so good as a kid. The biscuits were good. The salad was ok. That's about it. I had the hand breaded shrimp. It was overcooked and very greasy and it tasted like the grease was a month old. My clam chowder was Luke warm. I said something about the greasy shrimp, but I was already full off of the biscuits, so I told the waiter I didn't want anything else. I really didn't expect to have to pay for the shrimp. That's ok. I just won't be back. I gave them a chance to make it right and they passed.

Had some of the best service we've ever had our last visit at Red Lobster and it was some great food. We had the crab trio so amazing! The only down side was the mash potatoes were old and nasty but other then that the crab was great and the biscuits are a reason to go alone.

We had a slow, rude waitress I had hair in my food... Which a friend pointed out as the waitress was putting it down in front of me.... Which the waitress tried twice to subtlety say it was mine... When they replaced the dish the food was bland, and possibly undercooked ( as I sit here typing this review from my toilet...) The steak was hard and no flavor The Alfredo sauce was hard they put fries with certain plates that were specified for broccoli, twice.

Frozen food and horrible service. Went there with a couple friends. The food just arrived they brought us the heck right away. And after a couple minutes the check again. I argue with the inexperienced waitress and I was told :" check is like medicine when we're sick. We have to take it".. Really ?? I'll never go there again that's for sure

Great service. Lots of menu selections. Food is tasty and our server, Jerry is exceptional. Great food, great service, and it didn't cost an arm and leg.

This was a great place when I was a kid. Now it's frozen food or tilapia . Over priced garbage. They have fallen so fast. They won't last 5 more years .

Meh... it's Red Lobster...the food is decent...but in the end, it's really just a fancy McDonald's for seafood. Gets the job done in a pinch, but completely generic. EXCEPT for one thing: Everyone knows the real draw here is the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Sweet Christ, is there anything as delicious? Having been to Red Lobster many times over the years, and each time leaving with a gut full of fried fish parts and oily bloating, I decided to try and distill the experience to it's essence...the Biscuits. I read Gene X.'s review (about how he got a cheap menu item and ate 7 biscuits - which are unlimited and free), then I read Nathan M's review about the clam chowder being "top qual", and came up with the perfect diabolical plan: order a bowl of clam chowder, and nothing else. I did so, and spent a total of 5.62 (with tax) on my DINNER...that's right - dinner at Red Lobster for 5.62, for which I paid 10 dollars and let the waiter keep the change, leaving a net cost of 10.00 for the meal. I felt the tip was entitled, as the waiter brought a HUGE basket of biscuits (8 total) instead of the usual 3-4, so I didn't even have to ask for seconds. I made sure to ask for "plenty of those biscuits" (with a knowing wink and a nod) when ordering. The clam chowder, while not "mind blowing" is very good, expecially when eaten with approximately 7 biscuits...the total being quite a large meal. And the finished stomach-feel was much less greasy than having a plate full of fried items, though no doubt just as "bad" for you. I feel like I have discovered a new secret...and the only people who shall know it will be the few randoms who happen to read a review of this specific Red Lobster on Yelp...and who the heck does that? Use this knowledge wisely, friends. He who controls the Biscuits controls the Universe!

Had dinner here at end of 11/14. Great service by very attentive, professional and friendly waiter. Good meal and good value. Red Lobster is a solid and reliable place to get a good seafood meal. We need to be sure that it doesn't go the way of other restaurant chains.
My step son selected this red lobster for his after graduation lunch. We waited for 20 minutes to be seated; once seated we waited another 20 mins to have our drink orders taken. My hubby and I ordered a simple drink, crown and coke. The waitress brought us a coke and cheap whiskey (not crown royal). When we let her know about the error, she took the glasses with an attitude and never came back. The service was so horrible that I will never go to a red lobster again. This place should probably be shut down..... just HORRIBLE!

Very disappointing. The star is for the biscuits. Party of three. We got seated pretty quickly. The Caesar salad was skimpy and made with iceberg lettuce, not even the leafy part. We ordered Fish & Chips, Crab Legs, and Boiled Maine Lobster. It took about an hour for the food to arrive. All of the meals ordered can be prepared in 15 minutes. None of the food was hot. The lobster was overcooked and dry. I would have sent everything back, but we didn't have an extra hour to wait. The restaurant used to have a really good kitchen, and I went there often. Maybe they have a new chef, but I will not be going back to that Red Lobster. I'm a native New Englander, and I know seafood well. This was going to be a treat for my visiting granddaughter and her husband who live in Rhode Island. The Red Lobster restaurants there used to be her favorite. A few years ago, Darden decided to close all the Red Lobsters there, so she was looking forward to this meal. Management needs to get on top of this one.

Worst seafood I've had! Shrimp were frozen, not fresh. Pasta , was flavorless. Oyster rated like water not like real McCoy but it was oyster. We return that. Only good thing was the beer. Her margarita was way too sweet! What ever happened to the red lobster I used to know?

So as you can tell if you've read any of my other posts, I am a New Englander and no matter how long I live in Florida or anywhere else for that matter will that change! We had Red Lobsters in N.E. decades ago but when you have fresh seafood all around, who needs a chain Red Lobster..obvi not the Boston metro area! Anywho, I was with a friend after work the other night and she said she was craving some seafood and wanted Red Lobster. I've lived her a year and can name you 3 locations I've seen in this area, had wanted to go back to give it a shot, and hadn't gotten around to it! I remember really liking their biscuits, so we went. First off, their menu is mostly crab based...NOTHING against crab but when you've grown up with fresh Maine lobster, crab is its loser cousin! We had the crab/shirmp stuffed mushrooms as a starter and it came out hot and was actually very good! I was being cheap that night, so I just had a bowl of clam chowder. I have tasted clam chowder up and down the eastern seaboard and fancy myself a bit of an epert. There's was nice a creamy, and besides the lack of clams, could have competed @ the Boston Chowdah Festival! I also had a few of my friend's scampi-ed shrimp and they were good! Something u could make at home and wud be just as good! Will I go back? of course...I'm a New Englander trapped in a world where when people say seafood, they mean grouper or other gulf fish!

This has to be one of my biggest disappointments in a long time. From the service to the food, I was not even close to being satisfied, and I am easy to satisfy. The service at the bar was very lackluster. Waited almost 10 minutes to put in our order at the bar and there were only 2 other couples there. The drink was only so so, nothing impressive there. then we went to site in the dining room. And sit, and sit, and sit. Almost 15 mins while waiters and waitress walked all around us. Finally when I did ask about some service, I was told I wasn't in their area. Had to go back up to the front and ask about getting someone to help us. I was told to wait a minute there. The endless shrimp were like the popcorn shrimp from KFC. Small, not much taste to speak of. The reorders were certainly endless. Endless in time. It took forever. I do not plan on going back. it really wasn't worth spending time and money at.

It's Red Lobster, they're all the same. Mediocre sea food for fancier prices. The only thing truly "good" at Red Lobster is their margarita (they call it a lobsterita).

Ok so the biscuit story - if you are going for the biscuits - you can make them for free at home :) It is hmmm off the top of my head 2 c bisquick, 1/2 c milk, 1/2 c cheese mix ... bake - when they are done you are brushing them with a garlic butter you have already created (recipe is on line).. Anyways I have been here twice now in the past couple weeks - ha my hubby wanted biscuits too. So our first experience they unfortunately had a dine and dash and we kind of got neglected but that was ok it was just my rare steak i had a hard time with. I tell everyone please just let me eat with my husband. They retried 3 times then it was just yuk ... Randy the manager I will tell you is working really hard to keep business and believes in the restaurant. We were blown away he comped both our meals. That was so not necessary and I have complete respect for that. My hubby was very honored he does not like when we receive things free he believes in paying his way - but was appreciative this night. So last night I ordered off, there menu that you get 4 items for 15.99, soup salad entrée and dessert. So the woodstove cooked pork caught my eye. I asked three times well done. Well the sauce was delicious, the vegetables considering our server told us the mixed vegetable medley including asparagus, well that's what we ordered. When we received them it was eggplant and zucchini and tomatoes, would not have been a problem if we hadn't been expecting asparagus. So of course my pork chop was not cooked enough. They took it back to recook it and brought it back as the shorter female manager brought it to me she asked me a question about our vegetables, at the same time our waiter Will brought green beans as an alternative. So the manager didn't wait for an answer she just walked away. The pork chop was missing the apple sauce on the top and I requested it from the manager ... sitting ... sitting ... sitting my hubby finally asked our waiter for the sauce I had been waiting on. He did then I went to go have a taste of my newly cooked pork chop and it was freezing cold barbeque sauce. I have to tell you when you are expecting something and you get something completely different it is shocking. At that point I was done! Ha well not really still got my dessert, Angela was a new manager that came over and I must tell you as fussy as I am - my attitude is if I am paying for it I want it cooked right .. not hard! So although the other manager fails - Angela and Randy rocked and really do care about their clients and their experience. We will try one more time and that is due to the staff that are trying to make everyone happy. BTW their house salad is always fresh and crisp .. I wil let you know how it goes next time :)
